## Pain Meds

1. Figure out opioid hx and what is used in the past
2. opioid naive: start morphine IV 2mg q4, then go up to 4, 6
3. total dose in a day 1st then convert to others. Divide long and short into 1/2

  * protein > 200
  * cell count > 2000
